May 07, 2012· My 1987 Taiwanese Webb Champ Mill 4VH (3,500 lbs) was originally a CNC machine. It has ball screws and when I got it, the computer was gone. I converted it back to a manual machine by replacing the missing parts and the servos were sold. It works quite well with ball screws by simply remembering to use the table locks before making a cut.
